Gateway to Heaven: The Appalachian Trail

So as I was driving back to school in Rhode Island today I was located approximately between New York and Massachusetts when I spotted a small bridge over the pike bearing a sign. THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL Destiny was calling me! "Julia, don't go back to school instead follow the Appalachian Trail and live a life of freedom in the wilderness forever." God it was tempting but unfortunately I kept driving. Did I make the wrong choice? Is this a sign that I don't belong in Appalachia? Will I ever be able to encounter an American black bear cub? or come face to face with a timber rattlesnake? WILL I EVER OWN THAT RIFLE?? Am I forever destined to live in a city and never breathe fresh air again? Will I never be able to gaze at the stars? Will I ever have another bonfire? WILL I EVER BE ABLE TO SEND MY DAUGHTER TO PROM WEARING THIS DRESS PROUDLY? SO MANY QUESTIONS forevs appalachia?
